Tips for enjoying your massage

and its benefits

  • Check if you have any contraindications to the chosen massage.
In each massage sheet on the site, you can consult the specific contraindications for each massage, to be able to make your choice in full knowledge and while avoiding all risks.

  • Ideally do not plan any physical or intense activity after your massage.
A massage tires your body in a good way, in fact it must make an effort to eliminate toxins.
Asking him to put in even more effort afterwards will exhaust him and you won't benefit from the relaxing effects gained.

  • If you can, come without makeup, don't have freshly washed hair or avoid leaving the hairdresser.
A massage is done with oil and goes from head to toes (unless contraindicated or requested on your part), it would be a shame to have made yourself beautiful for nothing.
If you don't have short hair, bring something to tie it up.

  • Indicate before the session any areas that are painful, recently injured or to be avoided (as well as any known allergies).
The goal is not to make you suffer or hurt you, the treatment must adapt to you and meet your current needs.

  • Plan a fairly wide time slot for your massage.
You need time to change quietly before and after the massage, as well as a few minutes of discussion with your practitioner about your needs before and your feelings after.
Furthermore, once the massage is finished, it is recommended to take your time to come back to yourself and get up gently to benefit from total relaxation.

  • Avoid waxing just before the session
Hair removal is very often irritating to the skin, making it sensitive to contact with oils (appearance of small red spots).

  • Plan clothes accordingly
Certain oils, such as sesame oil, can stain white clothes/underwear.

  • Eat light if you come just after a meal
Massaging the abdomen after eating is unpleasant and your digestion will be disrupted.

  • Drink plenty of water throughout the day after the session
Any massage helps eliminate toxins, which can cause cramps and/or aches if you don't drink enough afterwards to properly eliminate them.

  • Avoid exposing yourself to the sun with massage oils after the session
Even if there are no photosensitizing essential oils in the massage oils used, it is not recommended to expose yourself to the sun with them.
These are not tanning oils, and each skin is different and has its own sensitivity, it is preferable to take a shower before any prolonged exposure to the sun.
